Kline K-Frac Fracturing Liner System

The K-Frac Fracture Isolation System has been designed to complete your customers' well efficiently and with less time than a standard plug and perf system. Up to 30 zones may be fractured without shutting down the pumping operation, so rigging up and down between stages is eliminated. The custom designed valve ball seats will withstand high flow rates and pressures needed for fracturing multiple zones in a single operation, but are easily drilled out to achieve full production diameter.

K-Frac Bi-Directional Hydraulic Shifting Tool

The K-Frac Bi-Directional Hydraulic Shifting Tool is able to open or close any number of valves in a single trip. It works with threaded or coiled tubing and is compatible with or without jars or bumper subs. The tool is easy to locate with Logan Kline Tools’ Mechanical Collar Locator.

The K-Frac Flow Stop Collar is the lowermost component above the liner shoe track. The Flow Stop Collar allows well fluid to fill up during liner installation; circulation for well fluid displacement once the liner is at depth. When closed the K-Frac Flow Stop Collar provides liner pressure integrity for setting of the K-Frac Open Hole Packers, the liner hanger packer and opening of the K-Frac Hydraulic Actuated Starter Valve.

The Fracturing Stimulation Valve is strategically placed in the fracturing liner and is opened by pumping a predetermined size ball on a seat for zonal stimulation and isolation.

Hydraulic Actuated Starter Valve (HASV) is strategically placed at the toe, or first frac zone port when used in the ball actuated frac valve system. The HASV is also utilized in Plug and Perf operations to open the toe of the liner to pump plugs and guns to depth.

The K-Frac Liner Hanger Packer is a hydraulically set tool, with no need for external setting tools.

K-FRAC Open Hole Anchor

K-FRAC Open Hole Anchor

TheK-FRAC Open Hole Anchor is hydraulically set. Tubing pressure is used to set the anchor and the setting force is locked into the K-FRAC by a ratcheting system. The element is recessed to reduce openhole friction and wearing of the element in preset conditions. The slips create an anchor into the openhole rock face to help ensure the integrity of the liner.

The K-Frac Open Hole Packer is used to straddle the K-Frac Fracture Stimulation Valve for fracture zonal isolation, additionally any number of packers may be installed for any open hole isolation application.

The K-Frac 6.080” Open Hole Reamer is an essential component to the successful installation of the K-Frac Isolation System. The 6.080” Open Hole Reamer is run immediately prior to the liner installation to ensure clean installation of the liner. The 6.080” Open Hole Reamer effectively builds a smooth transition in the wellbore by evening out dog legs and tight spots.

The K-Frac Running Tool is the uppermost component of the K-Frac Fracturing Liner System. The K-Frac functions as an installation and disconnect device during the liner run-in and functions as a re-entry device throughout the well life.
